Alicia Johnson joined the Walker Allen family in 2017. Alicia primarily focuses her practice on general civil litigation, including automobile accident, premises liability, and medical malpractice defense. With the ability to fluently read and write in Spanish, Alicia is able to connect with and provide legal assistance to a versatile range of clients. Prior to joining Walker Allen, she served as an Assistant District Attorney where she quickly gained the nickname "Bull Dog" for her tenacious trial practice. Alicia graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a degree in Political Science. She double majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish. Alicia attended law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law. In law school, she was a member of Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Board, where she earned top tier awards in each. She gained additional valuable trial experience working in various district attorney's offices, including Durham, Orange, and Brunswick Counties. In addition to representing clients in general civil litigation, Alicia is also an active volunteer for North Carolina's Legal Aid program. Since graduating law school, she has continuously prioritized giving back to those unable to afford legal representation. She values service and strives to be of service to as many in need as she can. Outside of practicing law, Alicia enjoys domestic and international travel, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.

Jerry is the Managing Partner of Walker Allen, where he is responsible for the daily operation of the firm offices. He divides his time between the Goldsboro and Raleigh offices. Jerry is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Federal District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts and the United States Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. Sarah Rand-McDaniel joined the Walker Allen family in 2017. Sarah primarily focuses her practice on general civil litigation, including automobile accident, premises liability and medical malpractice cases. She also enjoys assisting insurance companies with coverage issues and representing clients through the appellate process. Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 2008 with a degree in Economics. After working in the finance industry in her hometown of Charleston, she returned to the University of South Carolina to earn her law degree. While attending law school, Sarah was an active member of the Mock Trial Bar and served as the Associate Justice of External Competitions. She was awarded the Karen M. Lee Scholarship for her dedication to academic pursuits and concern for the welfare of her colleagues. Upon graduating in 2013, Sarah was also honored to receive the Compleat Lawyer Bronze Award, which recognizes three recent graduates who have demonstrated potential to become outstanding attorneys and possess the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism. After law school, Sarah served as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court from 2013 through 2015. She then began her litigation career as an associate at a reputable insurance defense firm in Columbia, South Carolina. Charleston beckoned her home, and Sarah welcomed an opportunity to be a part of a growing firm at Walker Allen. Sarah is passionate about her philanthropic role with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She enjoys traveling, beach combing, cheering on the Gamecocks and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Truc Tran joined the Walker Allen family in 2023. Truc primarily focuses her practice on general civil litigation, including automobile accidents. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2010, where she received a bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Crime, Law and Society. Following, Truc attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. After graduation from law school, Truc served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable D. Craig Brown. She then moved back to Charleston and gained valuable trial experience as a prosecutor for the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office for a number of years. Since leaving the Solicitor's Office, Truc has been defending insurance carriers and employers in litigated claims. In her spare time, Truc enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. She enjoys traveling, baking, and teaching her son tennis. Truc was born in Vietnam but has resided in South Carolina since she was three years old. She speaks fluent Vietnamese.
