WOODS - Key Persons
David brings many years of sales and customer service experience to Out of the Woods. He enjoys helping people find and express their style in the selection of stone countertops for their home. "If the kitchen is the heart of a home, make it exciting, fun and the place everyone wants to be!" he says.
In his spare time, David enjoys being outdoors, especially with a camera. He likes to do action and macro photography, including wild horses, motorcycles, sports, flowers and bugs. He also likes the unique and unexpected outcomes of low light, long exposure photography.
Fernando makes sure that we have all the items necessary to manufacture all of our cabinetry. He loves spending time with his beautiful family and they spend as much time as they can outdoors camping and fishing. He is also a hardcore Denver Broncos fan.
Heather brings a keen accounting background to Out of the Woods, that is only exceeded by her warm smile. She definitely helps keep all of the production and sales team on target and organized, which is not an easy task. Heather loves spending time being active outdoors and spending time with her husband and kids whenever the opportunity arises.
Jared has enjoyed cabinet design for many years and brings his experience to Out of the Woods. He loves helping people turn a dream into a reality, and as such, Out of the Woods is a perfect career and one that he looks forward to perfecting and making his own. He has been married for 13 years to an amazing wife and has 3 wonderful kids who are the central point of life and reason for coming to Out of the Woods. As a Utah native, his free time is spent with family playing outdoors hiking, camping or spending a relaxing day at one of the local lakes in the area. He also enjoys golfing, snowboarding or playing video games with the kids.
Jon earned his MBA at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University (Go Aggies!) with an entrepreneurial emphasis and has had the opportunity to serve in like capacities in multiple industries. As our Director of Finance, he brings his keen financial knowledge to, and he appreciates serving and being part of the team with a great company like Out of the Woods. When away from work, he loves being with his family, his dream vacation would be to travel all over playing beautiful renowned golf courses.

Lance grew up on job sites with his father, a general contractor, learning all he could from him. He started working in the cabinet industry in 2002, with the last ten years at Out of the Woods. Lance enjoys the challenge of cabinet installation and the ultimate rewards of a beautiful finished product. He has a great skill in making sure everything turns out excellent. During his time away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, son and 2 dogs. They all enjoy doing everything outdoors including fishing, hunting and nights around a campfire sharing stories and s'mores.

Mark comes to Out of the Woods with over 30 years of sales, sales management and multi-unit management experience from a variety of fields. With a B.S. in Business Management, Our Director of Sales & Marketing, Mark strives to create sales teams that generate high performance, with customer service as a top priority. He loves sales and enjoys creating diverse and successful teams. When away from work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He loves to see new places, try new foods and do new things, and will try almost anything at least once. He also enjoys sports of almost any type, especially his Utah Jazz.
Matt has been with Out of the Woods almost since the very beginning. His knowledge of the cabinet and countertop industry is indispensable here. As Director of Operations, If you need to know something about the operations here, Matt is the man. At work, his top priority is a happy client and it shows in his tireless efforts overseeing the cabinet and stone countertop shops here at Out of the Woods. When away from work, his priorities shift to his family and watching his son play baseball. As an avid outdoorsman, he is always on the lookout for when and where the next hunt will be.
Randy has 30 years of experience in the cabinet manufacturing industry. His expertise ensures that all the products we manufacture and fabricate stay on the correct schedule for completion and installation. He enjoys camping, ATV riding, and spending time with family.
Robert has been with Out of the Woods since 2014. From cabinet work to landscaping, he loves to work with his hands to create new things and new ideas. Robert has always been a very helpful person and strives to bring happiness to those he comes into contact with. Away from work, he loves to cook, read, draw & paint. He also enjoys spending time with his husband and German Shepard, Ava.
Ryan has been with Out of the Woods since 2017. Ryan received his B.S. in Technical Sales with honors from WSU. Ryan loves the personal interaction he gets to have with all of his clients while helping them to create beautiful spaces in their homes. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends a great deal of his free time hunting, fishing and camping. Ryan also loves to snowboard and spends the winter months as a snowboard instructor at Snowbasin.

Ryan comes from a long history of woodworking and cabinetry. He started building birdhouses and simple projects as a pre-teen with his Grandfather in their small wood shop in Vernal Utah. He especially enjoyed drawing up plans and figuring out how things go together. He made wooden boxes, tables and toys for his family and friends every Christmas.
He officially started his cabinetry career in 1999 at a custom cabinet shop and worked his way through different shop positions, office management and design/sales. He has worked on everything from small remodel vanities to large commercial projects to multi-million-dollar new homes.
In his spare time Ryan enjoys backpacking and camping, spending time with his beautiful wife and daughters, and spending time on woodworking projects in the garage.
Rylee started at Out of the Woods as our receptionist and through hard work and her bubbly attitude, has blossomed into a Showroom Sales Representative. She loves all those she works with and delights in helping her clients bring their dreams to life. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading and attending baseball games with her family.
Ted brings decades of cabinet industry experience to Out of the Woods as our Senior Project Manager. As a U.S. Army and Gulf War veteran, Ted brings his military discipline to the job every day to ensure that all our project managers stay on task, submit clean drawings and details are all accounted for. When not at work, you will most likely find Ted out on the lake fishing with his buddies or spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Tige discovered his passion for woodworking as a teenager, when he set up a small woodshop in his Grandpa's barn, where he built gun cabinets, dressers etc. for friends and family. He later attended Ogden-Weber APC where he earned a certificate in cabinet manufacturing. He began working in the cabinet industry shortly thereafter doing installation and learning more about design and manufacture. He started his company, Out of the Woods Custom Cabinet & Countertop, in a shop behind his home in Syracuse in 2001. He is passionate about the quality of the service, product and work environment at Out of the Woods and strives daily to set an example of being the very best at each. Tige is hard worker and very down to earth, with a quick wit and a love of the historical roots of Utah. He spends his free time hunting and going on drives with his family.
