Anna Sims joined the Pretty In Pink team in 2017 as Patient Resource Coordinator. Since that time, she has become the central resource for all program services and has managed grant applications for hundreds of candidate Champions. Managing the entire Champion experience from application to grant to satisfaction survey, she maintains relationships with all of the major medical systems in North Carolina from whom we receive referrals for Champion candidates.
Anna is the key interface with the Pretty In Pink board medical advisory committee, presenting candidate applications for approval of funding, ensuring each candidate presented meets Foundation criteria. She holds a bachelor's degree in public health and community health education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is a certified health education specialist (CHES) and a Master of Social Work.
Becky Horn joined the Pretty In Pink Foundation leadership team in 2018. Currently serving as Executive Director, she is responsible for all fundraising, mission services, and administration. Prior to joining the staff of Pretty In Pink, Becky was a board member of the Foundation for 9 years, and treasurer of the Foundation board for 8 years. In Becky's 30+ year business career, she has held leadership roles in marketing, operations, and general management for technology and communication companies including GTE (later Verizon), DSC (later Alcatel), Fujitsu, and Allied Telesis. She holds a master's degree in economics from North Carolina State University.

Heather Sullivan joined the Pretty In Pink Team in 2023 as the Community Outreach and Engagement Manager. With an experienced background in events and sales, she will spearhead the Foundation's signature fundraising event, Pink Pumps and Bow Ties Gala. Heather studied Program Management and Political Science at North Carolina State University, earning her bachelor's degree. She is from Brunswick County, NC, so fittingly she is responsible for fundraising efforts from the Coast to the Triangle. Driven by a fervent desire to empower individuals and organizations, she harnesses her exceptional abilities to orchestrate philanthropic endeavors and foster community engagement.

Tara Coppedge is an experienced communications expert and award-winning journalist. She joined Pretty In Pink in 2020 as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Prior to joining the team, she worked in the news industry for more than 11 years as an anchor and reporter. Her last role in was at Spectrum News NC, where she anchored the news across the state, in addition to reporting on special assignments.
Tara became a journalist to share stories in hopes of making a difference. Now she's able to use her passion for storytelling to highlight the vital work of Pretty In Pink. Tara graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Mass Media Studies.
