Cathy is the Office Manager for our firm. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Cathy is dedicated to serving clients quickly and efficiently with a personal touch. She has 3 children, two sons and 1 daughter, and 4 beautiful grandchildren. In her time off time, she spends time with her family, working in the yard, hiking, kayaking, and reading.

Joe is the President of Sierra Financial Advisory, Inc. He received a Bachelor's Degree in History from Stanford University in 1987 followed by a Master's Degree in physical therapy from the University of Southern California in 1989. After spending 10 years working in the health care industry, Joe started his career as a financial advisor in 1998. Experiences with Prudential Securities, Paine Weber, and UBS eventually led Joe to establish Sierra Financial Advisory Inc., a registered investment advisor, in 2004. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and holds series 65 and insurance licenses.
Joe and his wife, Judy, were married in 1989. They have two children, Michael and Kaitlyn. They have lived in Grass Valley, California since 1995.

Michael is a Registered Investment Advisory Representative for Sierra Financial Advisory, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Azusa Pacific University in 2015, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2018, he received his MA from Western Governors University. After a brief stint in the field of education, Michael re-directed his career to financial services. He holds a series 65 license.
