Brian Landes joined Spiegel in 2023 as Senior Tax Associate. Brian is an Enrolled Agent with over 20 years of experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses. His most recent work was accounting and taxation in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Brian is known for his attention to detail, clear explanations of complex tax laws, and follow-through in resolving client tax issues.
Brian is a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents.
Outside of work, Brian is an avid tennis player, enjoys travelling abroad, and studying foreign languages.

As Tax Director with Spiegel, Chris Ricker manages a team that provides tax services, including compliance and consultation, and helps clients make proper decisions about their future by providing solutions to reach their goals.
Before joining Spiegel in 2021, Chris spent 25 years at a regional accounting firm providing tax services.
Chris enjoys playing golf and is an avid Bearcat fan of his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati where he holds a B.S. in Accounting. Chris holds an active CPA license in Ohio.

Christina Villasenor joined Spiegel in 2023 as Administrative Associate after a successful 25-year career in the mortgage lending industry. In her role at Spiegel, she supports a multitude of office and accounting functions, prepares deliverables to clients, and assists staff with various needs.
In her free time, Christina enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and trips to the beach.

Crystal Joy Dalmacio is an Assistant Office Manager with Spiegel. Crystal's varied background in customer service, retail and office administration provides the perfect foundation for her role supporting the Office Manager, as well as all other departments within the firm. She strives to be a jack-of-all-trades and an indispensable team player with her vast administrative experience, from reception and coordinating company travel, up to tax and audit end-processing functions.
Crystal is a University of California, Santa Cruz alumni (go Banana Slugs!) and is also an avid supporter of the championship caliber Bay Area teams: Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. In her free time, she enjoys food adventures and traveling the world with family and friends.
David Clark is an Audit Supervising Senior with Spiegel and a licensed California CPA.
Before joining Spiegel in 2020, David spent six years working with a variety of real estate organizations, primarily in residential and commercial property management, and HOA management. David focused on the center of each business, taking on tasks to improve overall accounting operations, while gaining valuable experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
At Spiegel, David leads engagements for private lender and mortgage banker audits, agreed-upon procedures, and trust account reviews. He also specializes in HUD compliance procedures for mortgage bankers.
David holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Outside of his professional work, David and his wife have three cats and a puppy, and enjoy a wide variety of workouts and outdoor activities.
As Director of Operations, Dyan Cole plans, coordinates, and oversees operational activities to ensure processes and systems align with the current and future needs of the firm. Dyan is highly integrated with Spiegel's marketing and business development strategies, quality control and risk management systems, employee leadership development, and client engagement. She specializes in content creation and proofreading, and enjoys a good debate over punctuation etiquette.
Dyan currently serves on the Executive Board for the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce as Secretary, and her community homeowners association as President. She is a member of the American Association of Private Lenders, Association for Accounting Marketing, and CPA Firm Management Association.
Outside of work, Dyan enjoys hiking and other outdoor adventures, festivals, travel, and volunteerism.
Henry Chavez works with thriving organizations, serving as a strategic resource for their growth and success. In a public accounting career spanning over two decades, Henry has provided assurance and business consulting services to privately held businesses in the financial services, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and non-profit sectors.
Before joining Spiegel in 2012, Henry spent 15 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he provided assurance services as a senior manager, with international clients in banking and manufacturing and distribution. His PwC experience included several years in South America working with various European and North American multi-national firms.
Henry holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He is a licensed California CPA and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs. Henry also serves on committees for the California Mortgage Bankers Association, has served as a speaker for the California Mortgage Bankers Association, and provides training courses on financial accounting and reporting issues to the mortgage industry. Henry's hobbies include cooking, reading, exercising, and spending time with his family - his mother, grandmother, two sons and daughter.

As Director of Administration, Janis Roe is responsible for all day-to-day administrative operations. Her primary responsibilities within the company cover financial management, HR management, strategic planning, and communication with firm management. She provides the administrative leadership for the office, including the administration team.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Janis worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant at ABM Industries and was the Office Manager for Restoration Management Company.
Janis earned her B.A. in Child Development with an emphasis in Psychology from San Jose State University. She is a loyal CrossFitter - regularly working out and is starting to compete. She loves spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, road biking, and enjoying time with her family and friends traveling.

Jeff Spiegel's dynamic career as a Certified Public Accountant began to escalate when he established his own full-service, boutique CPA firm in 1991, with a particular focus in the mortgage banking, private equity lending, and real estate industries. Prior to founding Spiegel, Jeff held positions with KPMG and Deloitte & Touche, two of the largest accounting firms in the world.
Jeff's experience covers the full range of tax, accounting, audit, and consulting services. Throughout his career, Jeff has specialized in providing these services to a wide variety of industries including financial services, real estate, investment partnerships, professional service firms and e-commerce. His professional style is to maintain a high-level of visibility and interaction with his clients throughout the year to stay abreast of developments within their companies that affect their financial picture.
Due to his vast experience, Jeff is often sought out for speaking engagements, industry webinars, and providing relevant content for national publications.
He is actively involved in professional organizations related to specific industries such as the Mortgage Bankers Association, California Mortgage Bankers Association, National Private Lenders Association, American Association of Private Lenders, and the California Mortgage Association. Jeff is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.
Jeff received his B.S. from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Washington, and Washington, D.C.
Outside the work arena, you will likely find Jeff in the crowd at a Golden State Warrior's game or traveling the globe. He also likes to hike and spend time with his colleagues and friends.

On January 1, 2023, Kadidia Traore was promoted to Principal, joining the Spiegel partnership group. Kadidia joined the Spiegel audit team in 2016 and soon became Director of Audit, managing multiple corporate audit engagements. She has over 10 years of experience providing auditing and accounting services to companies within a broad range of industries including the real estate, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Her background includes over seven years at Ernst and Young and two years at a local public accounting firm. While at Ernst and Young, she was in charge of managing multiple engagements ranging from developmental stage companies to mid-sized private companies and large SEC registrants.
Kadidia holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia. Kadidia is a licensed CPA in the state of California.
In her free time, Kadidia likes to garden, travel, and spend time with her family. She's also a foodie who loves trying new restaurants.

Noelia is a Tax Manager with Spiegel and has been with the firm since 2005. She is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Desktop 2020 and QuickBooks Online. Noelia earned her B.S. in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
In her free time, Noelia enjoys watching the San Francisco Giants play baseball.

Sonja Dugan has over 17 years of experience providing auditing and accounting services to companies within a broad range of industries, including the manufacturing and retail sectors. Her experience consists of over 13 years at KPMG and four years at a small public accounting firm. She holds an MBA from the University of Duisburg, Germany.
After completing her graduate studies, Sonja worked in the audit department of KPMG in Germany. During this time, she obtained her licenses as Steuerberaterin (Tax Advisor), and Wirtschaftsprüferin (Chartered Accountant). Her duties at KPMG focused on the audit of financial statements and consolidated financial statements for mid-size international corporate clients. She has specialized experience in the field of post-merger integration services and optimization of financial processes, refinancing, and restructuring. After relocating to the United States, she obtained her California CPA license in 2016 and worked for a small public accounting firm based in New York.
Sonja joined Spiegel in 2021 and is currently responsible for managing multiple corporate audit engagements. Sonja likes to spend her free time with her 5-year-old twins.
William Vandegrift joined Spiegel in early 2022 as a Tax Manager. William is a qualified IRS Enrolled Agent who specializes in international, cryptocurrency, and business tax compliance. He has successfully served a range of clients, including real estate investment corporations, expats, and virtual currency investors.
Prior to joining Spiegel, William spent five years with Krueger CPA Group, a CPA firm specializing in small-to-medium businesses, advisory services for high-net worth individuals, and international taxation.
William holds a B.B.A. from Temple University's Fox School of Business, Philadelphia, PA. In his personal time, William enjoys creating music, traveling, and attending Star Trek conventions.
