Sumbion Solution Facilitators was established in 2003 by Pierre Durandt, an information technology professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of national payment systems and financial market infrastructure. For a period, while based in Europe, the company was known as Sumbion AG. During 2011 the company relocated to South Africa as its primary base, reverting to the original Sumbion SF in the process... It is Sumbion SF's business to provide consultation services and advice in the areas of systems, software development and implementation, project management, strategic planning, training, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure, payment systems and payment flow management, and capacity building.
