Buzz is the newest-and arguably cutest-member of the TCB Team. He keeps Tanya healthy by encouraging her to get away from her computer occasionally for some fresh air and exercise. When he isn't romping around with his canine pals in Spring Valley Park, Buzz enjoys playing tug-of-war with his favorite squeaky toy.
TCB Marketing was founded in 2006 by Tanya Bamford, a marketing professional with more than 20 years experience in marketing and advertising. She began her career in broadcasting, working in radio sales and promotions. She ascended the career ladder quickly, and in her mid-twenties became the Advertising Director for a specialty retail chain with 17 stores in 9 markets. She then graduated to an Account Management role for a large direct marketing firm where she managed the direct mail initiatives for global brands including Norwegian Cruise Line and American Express Latin-America. Prior to starting her own business, she also worked in the newspaper industry for over six years for two Tribune Publishing properties, most recently as a Senior Manager for The Morning Call in Allentown.
After a brief hiatus to start her family, Bamford decided to opt-out of a corporate career and launched TCB Marketing as a "solopreneur", initially working as a home-based marketing consultant. Client demands led to the rapid expansion of services. She quickly grew the business into a full-service marketing agency, utilizing a network of freelance talent to assist in the delivery of services for clients.
Bamford is very active in the local business community. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Penn Suburban Chamber of Greater Montgomery County, and is the current Marketing Chairperson for the Lower Gwynedd Business Association. She is a member of the Montgomery Township Business Group, and previously served on the Montgomery Township 300th Anniversary Celebration planning committee. In recognition of her contributions, visibility, leadership, and company growth, TCB Marketing was named Small Business of the Year by the Penn Suburban Chamber in 2010.
