TOP SHELF - Key Persons
Joyce Cee is the Jingle Coach here at Top Shelf Voiceover Studio and we are very proud and ecstatic to have her. Joyce is a classically trained songstress. As a jingle singer, Joyce can be heard on the NBC Network promo jingle "Catch the New Times on NBC".
Joyce has toured and recorded with a variety of established artists such as Jonathan Butler (Jive Records), Regina Belle (Sony Records), Basia (Sony), Dave Stewart (Elektra Records), Brian McKnight (Live at the Apollo Theatre), PM Dawn (Island Records). She can also be heard on many Warner Brothers Records tracks.
Joyce was selected to play a "singer" in the Al Pacino/Johnny Depp feature film "Donnie Brasco". Joyce has had her songs recorded by legendary, smooth jazz saxophone great Grover Washington, Jr. Her song "Don't Take Your love From Me" (Sony Records) appears on Grover Washington's "Time Out Of Mind" CD - a critic's pick.
Joyce is currently in production with her new Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) cable television show "The Indie Beat" and is a principal vocalist for several leading society orchestras.
A reputable jazz magazine had this to say about Joyce - "This woman's individualism and power deserves to be heard." (Cadence Magazine)
I am a graduate of the Third Street Music Settlement in NYC, the Ukrainian Music Institute of NY and NYU School of Business and Public Administration. I have 35 years of industry experience in performance, recording, arranging, producing and teaching. All fine and dandy, but all I've ever wanted to do is own and run a studio. Finally, my dream has come to fruition. I've had the opportunity to visit a lot of studios namely Electric LadyLand in NYC, Systems 2 in Brooklyn, NY, Edge Studio in Fairfield, CT, B Sharp in Astoria, NY, Newfound Studio in NYC, et al. Working at these studios just reinforced my desire to have a Class A studio of my own and now it's here. Top Shelf Studios is my baby and I would love nothing more than to have you come in and check it out. You won't be disappointed.
