TREFALDWYN VETS - Key Persons
Adam is our I.T guy. Adam has been key in helping Trefaldwyn Vets setup up, design and create a presentable website that is easy to maintain and provide useful information to visitors.
Not only has Adam been key in website development, he also looks after our I.T infrastructure from label printers, hardware provision, WIFI capability, fault finding, diagnoses and support on all of our I.T requirements as well as PAT testing and fixing a lot of our field equipment.
Although not a permanent member of staff, Adam provides I.T and Photography services through his company G17, we feel that Adam is a key member of the team and we are proud to have him listed here.
Adam has a full understanding of our requirements, always on hand to help and integrates fully into the ethos of the practice to ensure the I.T backbone is fully functional to support us in providing our customers with the high standards of service that is - business as usual.
Ali joined the Practice in September 2021 as an Animal Handling Assistant/Receptionist. More recently Ali has transferred to working as a Receptionist in our Llanfair Caereinion Branch and alternate Saturdays in our Montgomery Branch.
Ali has two Dalmations Lucy and Cleo, and is a member of the British Dalmation Society. Winston the horse has also just joined the family.
I have worked at Trefaldwyn Vets as a part time receptionist for the last 2 years having started working there as a Saturday girl. I live on a local dairy farm where my partner works as a herdsman with a herd of pedigree Holsteins.
Angela started at the practice in 1999. A majority of her work is done from the upstairs office at the surgery, but we do let her out from time to time. As you can see she is a Robbie Williams fan.

Beth joined the Trefaldwyn team several years ago after working in a small animal only practice. Her job role has vastly changed over the years and has now started her formal VN training.
She thoughly enjoys her nursing role which can be very varied and rewarding but is not without its challenges. At home with her husband, they have 2 young children and a variety of animals including a special chocolate Labrador who has retired from his role as a blood donor.

Beth joined the team in September 2020 and works on reception.
She enjoys walking her dog, Darcie, and likes a few wines on the weekend after a hard week of work!

Ceri studied Level 3 Animal Management at Walford College and has a BTEC National Diploma. She joined the practice as a Saturday girl and became full time in 2017.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, eating Japanese food and going to Cardiff to watch the rugby.
Chris graduated from Liverpool University in 1980 and started working at Trefaldwyn Vets in 1981. In 1992, Chris became a partner in the practice.
In his spare time Chris enjoys farming at home and spending time with his terriers.
Daragh graduated in 2004 from Edinburgh University.
He worked as a small animal locum in Edinburgh before starting in mixed Practice in Aberystwyth in 2005. He stayed there for just over 7 years before going to Somerset for 16 months again as a mixed animal vet.
Then in 2013 he moved with his family to Montgomery to continue mixed animal practice.
Dawn started as Practice Manager with Trefaldwyn Vets in January 2019.
In her spare time she trains her dogs in agility as well as training others. She also enjoys competing and judging at agility shows across the UK.
Vicki joined Trefaldwyn Vets in July 2015 after graduating from Liverpool University.
She particularly enjoys calving, lambing and has a keen interest in sheep preventative healthcare, canine and feline behaviour and ferrets.
In her free time, she enjoys walking the hills with her three collies and baking sweet treats for the Trefaldwyn Vets team.
Geoff is originally from America but graduated from Liverpool in 2001 and started at Trefaldwyn Vets in 2018. He has interests in small animals, exotics and wildlife.
Geoff is married with 2 sons and also has 1 dog, 2 cats, a snake, a turtle, a tortoise and a lizard.

Jakub graduated in 2017 from Warsaw University of Life Science in Poland. He spent more then a year in Ireland working mostly with large animals. After that he was a large animal vet in Devon for 2 years before he joined Trefaldwyn Vets in November 2020.
Jakub is developing his skills and gaining experience with small animals, as well as large animal work.
In his own time Jakub enjoys walking his dog and exploring the local area.
Jane joined the practice in 2019 .She has been in mixed practice for many years and enjoys all aspects of the work .
Her special interests are complementary medicines particularly homeopathy and acupuncture
Out of work she enjoys helping on the farm at home and her grandchildren
Katharine joined Trefaldwyn Vets in 1999 after working at a mixed practice in Shr ewsbury. She spent the next five busy fun years in nursing and reception roles as well as gaining the Pre-VN qualification at Walford College. After a stint at another Shropshire small animal practice she worked on the family smallholding breeding pigs and sheep before re-joining Trefaldwyn Vets in 2010 in her current role answering phones out of hours.
Working nights leaves Katharine with the time to care for her flock of geriatric sheep, indulge her soft spot for black Labradors and grow veggies on a windy Welsh hillside. She's also studying for a BSc. in Natural Sciences with the
Michaela is from County Mayo in Ireland. She graduated from University College Dublin in 2021. She enjoys all aspects of mixed practice. In her spare time she enjoys watching netflix and going to the gym. She also has a black belt in karate.
Oli joined the practice in 2007. He graduated from Liverpool.
Sarah joined Trefaldwyn Vets as a Locum in 2018. She is a Small Animal Vet who fills in when others are on holiday or off sick.
Sarah lives near Sarn and owns a selection of dogs - Pumbaa, the Clumber spaniel; Wilma, the Basset; Pip, the Westie; Tigger, the Springer, and Pumbaa's puppies, Pongo and Topi.
