Ms. Smith has grown up around the construction industry and received her collegiate education in engineering. After obtaining a BS in Engineering from Tuskegee University she worked in manufacturing and product development for Procter & Gamble. She subsequently gained her MBA from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Smith has management experience in multi-million dollar projects for Fortune 500 companies. She currently provides oversight of William E. Smith Masonry, Inc. She is active in several professional associations including the Board of the United Minority Contractors Association of N.C. In addition to strategic planning, and business development, Ms. Smith provides financial supervision for all projects undertaken by the company.
