Hello, my name is Emily. I joined the Wigmore team as a nursing assistant in January 2016, which was a newly created position for Wigmore. I previously worked with animals and as a dog groomer, but nursing was always my dream job. In September 2017 I stared to training to be an Auxiliary Nurse and in September 2018 I started training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse!

I have been working in practice as a qualified veterinary nurse since 2003. I have been working here at Wigmore Veterinary Centre since then and thoroughly enjoy it.
I am the practice's ‘mad cat woman' and take a great interest in all things feline.
I have studied Feline psychology and my inspiration for this was my wonderful cat, Iris, (who I hand reared from birth), and Violet, my beautiful British Shorthair who is sadly no longer with us.

Hi, my name is Karen and I have been at Wigmore since May 2008.
For some time before that I had wanted to work with animals, and after years of banking I think myself very lucky to have found this position as I thoroughly enjoy my work for the first time in my life. I have a rabbit called Sadie, who is silver grey and a tabby cat called Eddie. I don't think Sadie was treated very well before I got her so she gets lots of love and cuddles now.

Hi, my name is Saffron, I'm 23 and part of the reception team here at Wigmore Vets. I have always loved animals of all kinds and owned an array of pets from cats to lizards and frogs to dogs. I love all things science and dabble a little in some circus arts. Working at Wigmore Vets has given me the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful customers and their amazing pets of all shapes and sizes.

One of the most memorable experiences in my life was visiting Nepal with my practice colleague Sarah Sonley and trekking close to Everest base camp. When I don't have my climbing boots on I can be found in the garden amongst the plants!

I loved biology at school and would get around 90% in exams without even trying!
I grew up on my mum and dad's smallholding where we had a goat, rabbits and ducks, chickens and geese, so from then on I wanted to be a veterinary nurse.
I've always been a keen fisherwoman and I spend most of my free time outside on the water. I have my own boat and kayak and that's where you'll find me when I'm not at the vets!
Since qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 1991, I've also qualified as a specialist Dental Nurse and have done a lot of additional lab work courses and I love the fact that there's always something new to learn.

Hi, I am one of the many Sarahs at Wigmore so I have become known as Gollum!
I joined in April 2009 after qualifying as an RVN, although I had been a volunteer here for some years while I was at school. I have since obtained my Pet Health Counsellor qualification from Royal Canin and I have qualified as a specialist Dental Nurse.

Hi, I'm Sophie. I have been working at Eureka Veterinary Centre (Wigmore's sister branch) since July 2009 and am now a regular at both practices and local to Ashford.

Hi, I'm Suzi, I joined Wigmore Vets reception in November 2010, and it was the best career move I have ever made. As a child I always took in waifs and strays and nursed them back to health and from then on I wanted to work with animals but never had the opportunity: I had always worked in finance/IT. I complete all the insurance claims for our clients, work on reception, and generally fix things!
I have a beautiful Tabby cat called Tashchenka (Tushy for short) who adopted us, as she didn't like living next door, and I also have a naughty Tortie called Toast who I took in as a stray in 2023. My children are all grown up now, and I became a nanny (a young nanny!) in 2022.
