My passion is to provide a friendly and efficient service. As part of such service I willingly visit my sick and elderly clients at home, in hospital or in care homes to take instructions so that everyone has access to the same high standard of service. If you need advice about making a Will, just ask! I'll tailor your Will to your personal circumstances, family commitments and the possibility of taxation. I also ensure that all of my advice is in plain English. Even if you have an existing Will which you would like me to review, I am happy to help and suggest any required amendments or tell you that your Will is fine as it is. I also deal with the administration of estates when people have passed away. As this can be an extremely difficult time for those involved, I want clients to feel like they can turn to me for advice on what needs to be done and how. To this end I am happy to meet initially for a no obligation chat. In addition I advise in relation to Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications. A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to plan ahead. You can choose now which relative or friend should make decisions for you in the future if you are ever unable to make decisions yourself. If a friend or family member hasn't managed to make such plans, a Court of Protection application may need to be made so that the right person can be appointed to make decisions on behalf of a person who is no longer able to do so.
