Welcome to the Rockaway Southern Railroad, a short line providing North-South bridge and local freight service between South Plainfield and Dover, New Jersey. Interchange and track rights are provided with the CNJ (Reading and B&O), Lehigh Valley, and Erie-Lackawanna. A branch line to Sparta serves the NYSW (D&H, LNE, LHR). Limited passenger service is also provided via gas-electric motor cars. Operations take place c. 1964, although a few ice reefers and steam power are known to show up now and then!
