Cheryl W. Northfield

Cheryl has held a variety of operating roles in public health and healthcare organizations over the last 20 years. Her diverse background has made her keenly aware of the needs of these organizations, from technology implementation to business process to ongoing client support. Cheryl has worked as Director of Operations for two Northern California Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), each serving over 1200 physicians. She has also been Director of Client Services for a healthcare software firm and an information systems consultant, serving hospitals, medical groups, and county agencies. She is experienced in many aspects of front-line and back-office operations, as well as long range planning, cost-benefit analysis, process improvement, project management, and program and system implementation. During system implementation projects, Cheryl ensures quality assurance through detail-oriented analyses and facilitates communications as a technical liaison. Additionally, Cheryl's advocacy of client satisfaction is evident throughout the entire planning, implementation and support phases of all our client relationships. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.

Real time progress monitoring, metric sampling and client feedback drives accountability and any necessary corrective action to keep on track to hit objectives and ensure successful project completion. Cristi has a 25-year tenure as a problem solver for healthcare and public health organizations. She has significant experience in the development and implementation of large enterprise healthcare systems in hospitals and outpatient facilities. She also has a strong background in custom software design and interface development. She has provided policy and procedure development and user training for a number of public health and healthcare organizations. She has broad operational experience which includes managing the accounts receivable for 40 diagnostic centers nation-wide with Health Images/HealthSouth, practice management consulting with IPAs and Medical Groups, and marketing, installing, and supporting provider-focused solutions with MicroMed Healthcare Information Systems. She also has a strong background in accounts receivable redesign and process improvement. Cristi is a successful entrepreneur and has held senior operations and marketing roles with the Communications Technology Cluster, Cask Solutions, EmployeeLife.com (UNUMProvident), and OwnerCare, Inc (AfterMind). She holds a BA from Georgia State University.
