Charles L. Williams, Inc. is an independent Marine Surveyor & Consulting firm established in 1987. We are located in Savannah, Georgia, and travel throughout the Southeastern region, inclusive of South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. Our primary clients are marine underwriters, brokers, importers and exporters involving surveys for damage, condition, packaging and handling. We have extensive experience in steel, forest products, liquid and bulk general cargoes, machinery and project cargo... Charles L. Williams has been a marine surveyor in the Southeast area since 1977. His areas of concentration include cargo claims for marine underwriters, matters relating to condition, handling, damage, and salvage of breakbulk and containerized cargos. He is also experienced in hull and machinery losses; inland marine investigation; draft and tanker surveys; consultation to terminals, import and export corporations; and expert witness testimony.
