is our Ukrainian program coordinator. Prior to working with us she was a hosting coordinator for Open Hearts and Homes for Children hosting agency. She has 7 children 4 of whom are adopted from Ukraine. She has extensive knowledge of the Ukrainian culture and has traveled to many of the regions and orphanages that we work with.
In the very first days of the war she went to Poland to help Ukrainian refugees and continues to be deeply involved in helping them.
I have founded Child Adoption Associates in 2001 and has served as its executive director ever since. I completed my Ph.D. in biophysics and worked as a scientist in Russia, but was always volunteering with local orphanages and when we moved to the United States in 2000, I decided to make my passion my full-time job. Started as a small home office, our agency has now grown to become a recognized adoption agency with prestigious Hague accreditation and reputation for professional, caring and ethical adoption services.
Over the years, we developed the adoption programs in several countries, but Ukraine always had a special place in my heart - I was growing up in this country.
