CustomCPU started business on Jan. 1st 1990. In the early days it was just a logical offshoot for another company, Dan's TV Repair. After all, in the early days of PC's it was hard to find anybody to work on your PC, and in order to attract repair customers, it was necessary to project a different image than that of a TV Repairman. After a year in business, it became apparent that, in addition to repairing Computers, it was possible to build Custom Computers from the various parts normally used to repair them.
