Welcome to Natural Pet Essentials of Charlottesville, Virginia! Natural Pet Essentials was developed out of my love for animals which began at a very young age. Growing up in Illinois, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by two amazing mixed- breed dogs and a host of cats throughout my childhood... When it was time to leave the nest, I decided to incorporate my love of animals into my career choice by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois, which included a nutrition internship at the Nestle Purina Product Technology Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. To gain additional experience while in college, I had the great opportunity to observe and work with one of my instructors and renowned dog trainer at her training facility in central Illinois. I also volunteered extra time at the local humane society where I met the first love of my life, a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, Button...
