Leslie Lee

Leslie Lee has 25 years of experience in software design and development. He has worked on complex real-time systems for the defense industry, as well as popular consumer products such as SoftView's MacInTax (now Intuit's TurboTax) and Symantec's Norton Products. Leslie has worked in diverse environments, and brings a robust software engineering background to his projects, with experience in producing on time and on budget deliverables. Leslie has a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Michael Morgan - CTO, Founder

Michael Morgan has 25 years of experience in user-interface design, application software development, and software project management. He has worked in both large and small companies, including companies he co-founded with Susan Morgan. He brings to Equilytics a talent for creating software that efficiently solves complex mathematical problems. Michael created MacInTax, the first income tax program with a graphical user interface. MacInTax was an immediate success, was ported to Microsoft Windows and ultimately acquired by Intuit to become TurboTax, and has been a market leader ever since. Michael has also worked on pen-based applications, for which he holds several patents, and technical stock analysis using novel mathematical methods. Michael has a B.S. in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Susan Morgan - CEO, Founder

Susan Morgan has 15 years of experience in managing and counseling technology businesses and private companies. Susan was the co-founder, along with Michael Morgan, and the CEO of SoftView, the company that produced MacInTax, the income tax program for the Macintosh. MacInTax experienced rapid growth and achieved a position of market leadership in its segment. MacInTax was subsequently successfully acquired and is currently marketed as TurboTax by Intuit. Susan spent 7 years as an attorney at Fenwick & West, LLP, where she specialized in venture financings, and merger and acquisition transactions for private companies. Susan is intimately familiar with the intricacies of private equity stock attributes, including preferred stock liquidation preferences, participation caps, dividends, anti-dilution, convertible notes, common stock options and management plan bonus carve outs. Susan has created numerous spreadsheet models to compute the distributions of proceeds in real and simulated transactions for clients and their investors. Susan has a B.A. in Quantitative Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles; an M.A. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles; and a J.D. from Santa Clara University, School of Law.
