From The Ground Up is a family-owned Decatur Company that actually started in 1985 as a Christmas Tree Farm. After several years and many business purchases later we have become a Full Service Lawn & Landscape company for doing jobs from mowing & pruning to paver patios & block retaining walls. We Keep up on all the latest products available to the industry and back that with trained and educated staff members to make sure the job gets done right the first time. Because we appreciate the support this community has given to us, we try to support the community as often as possible by donating to local charities and offering services or products where needed in the Decatur area... 1979 graduate from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with a BS degree in Forest Management/Plant and Soil Science.
