Lori Herz is a Professor of Practice at Lehigh University in the Department of Bioengineering. Prior to joining the faculty at Lehigh, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over eight years. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dr. Herz had several functions in technical operations, as well as research and development. At Lehigh, she teaches several classes, advises student teams in their capstone design projects, and serves as the Associate Chair of Bioengineering. Dr. Herz has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University. She launched Herz Biotechnology Consulting in 2011.
