Education BA, Duke University JD, University of California, Berkeley Hamida Jackson-Little is a 1983, Magna Cum Laude, graduate from Duke University's Trinity College of Arts and Sciences where she received a BA degree in political science and French literature. Ms. Jackson-Little earned her law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, where among other achievements, she earned membership on California Law Review. Ms. Jackson-Little began her law career in 1986 at the San Francisco firm of Thelen, Marrin, Johnson and Bridges, where she specialized in business insurance coverage and civil litigation. Upon leaving Thelen, Ms. Jackson-Little represented small business clients in commercial matters at the firm of Gonsalves and Kozchenko. She later served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Appeals Board in Washington, D.C, drafting legal opinions on commercial compliance with environmental regulations. Currently, Ms. Jackson-Little heads Law Offices of H.J. Little, P.C., a metro-Atlanta law firm guiding families and small businesses in legacy and succession planning. Ms. Jackson-Little is admitted to the bar in Georgia, California and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
