About Us Imagine Designs was founded in 2001 by Kerry Carew Hightower. Kerry attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX earning her degree in Interior Design and double minoring in technology and art. Unlike most designers, Kerry has an extensive background in construction. Prior to creating her own business, Kerry worked for a small custom home builder as an interior designer. The job duties grew and a few months into the job, Kerry was asked to also be the superintendent for the custom homes they were building in Highland Park & Preston Hollow in Dallas, TX. For many years she served as the interior designer and oversaw all phases of construction. With this position she was able to gain valuable knowledge of residential construction. With her love for residential design, she took this knowledge she gained and began her business serving homeowners, builders and developers. She is an A.I.S.D. allied member and T.A.I.D. certified.
