Biography
Alex J. Rodriguez (Dr. A-Rod) came to Atlanta in 2004 after completing his education at the University of Florida. As the son of an Air Force officer, Dr. Rodriguez moved often. He was born in California, but spent time living in Virginia, Germany, Florida, Korea, and now Georgia. And although his extended family still lives in the Tampa area, Atlanta is where Dr. Rodriguez calls home. For ten years he lived in Atlanta's Reynoldstown neighborhood, but in 2016 he and his wife moved to the nearby Ormewood Park area with their two young children, Oscar and Adeline, and their dogs, Peach and Delta. Dr. Rodriguez is a daily bicycle commuter, and part-time public artist.
"I have a passion for working with my hands, which is why I became a dentist. When I'm not busy doing dentistry, I am a daily bicycle commuter and part-time artist. For ten years I lived in the nearby Reynoldstown neighborhood, but as my family outgrew that house, I now live in Ormewood Park with my wife, two kids, and two dogs.
Volunteer Dentist, Ben Massell Dental Clinic (since 2009) - for over 100 years, the BMDC provides the most advanced dental care available to low-income patients at virtually no cost. Dr. Rodriguez is proud to be one of 140 volunteer dentists who make the BMDC a success by donating their time and skills to those in need.
I have held various positions in dentistry since 2010, working as a Dental Assistant, Patient Coordinator, and now Office Manager. My clinical and administrative backgrounds have been useful in performing my duties. It is my pleasure to connect with patients on a deeper level - helping and caring for them.
I'm a native of Atlanta. In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
Biography
Dr. Butler grew up in Alabama, and attended dental school in Boston. She and her husband live in the nearby Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta.
"As a child, I remember always asking my parents for various Arts and Crafts kits for my birthday: clay sculptures, jewelry making, water color sets etc. As I grew older, that desire to create has stayed with me, so dentistry was an obvious fit for me. I graduated from Tufts University Dental School, and I have been working with patients ever since to achieve their dental health goals and create a beautiful, healthy smile. As your dentist, it is especially important to me to give you a calming, relaxed experience in your appointment. My personal measure of success is to connect with each and every one of my patients in a way that makes them less wary of that dental chair. I also enjoy learning about the new technology that is continuously being created in the dental field to provide new and improved procedures.
I've been a dental assistant since 2015. I enjoy comforting patients and learning new aspects about dentistry along the way. I enjoy working in the dental field and aspire to become a Dental Hygienist. In my spare time,
With experience in insurance verification and claim filing, I have been involved in management of both corporate and private practices. I love working with people and believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. My husband and I have a son, two Goddaughters, two puppies and a close church family that keep us busy. I was born in Georgia, raised in New Jersey and took up permanent residence in Georgia in 1978. My hobbies include reading, sewing and enjoying time with my family.
I'm a military brat, and have lived in Colorado, Germany, and Fort Stewart, GA. I was born in El Paso, TX. I enjoy spending time with my siblings and family every chance I can. In my spare time I enjoy bowling, going to the movies, cooking with my sisters, painting, and I love to travel to different places.
I have a passion for working with others and offering gentle, skillful care. I immigrated from Iran in 2000 to California where I earned my dental assistance degree from ROP in San Juan Capistrano. I then moved to Georgia in 2007 and sought my Expanded-Duties degree from Georgia Gwinnett College. I have experience in both private and corporate offices, offering high quality treatment for 20 years. During my free time I enjoy going on hikes, trying out food places with my daughter, and traveling.
