JANINE SIMMONS

Janine Simmons is the calm one who runs toward the fire. She is a creative thinker with expertise selling business technology and developing go-to-market strategies. Janine has worn many hats in her life; business adviser, marketer, technical geek, self-proclaimed culinary artist, cat herder and photographer. As a child, back in the days of film, Janine shot lots of photos. Armed with a camera, family pets became subject matter. Inevitably, Janine graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. She completed Northeastern University's Graphic Communications Management program and took creative courses at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Janine merged her knowledge and love of photography with a long career in digital imaging at leading software technology companies; Scitex, Agfa Graphics and Canon USA, starting before the days of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and mainstream photo editing.
