Founded in 1988, Irby Architects (formerly Irby + Papit Architects) is known for its custom designed home, work, and recreational spaces throughout Virginia. Our careful attention to detail and personal, hands-on approach results in creative designs uniquely suited to each and every client.
Jim Irby, founding principal, is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Architecture. Previous experience working in large architectural firms as well in home construction adds a valuable dimension to the design services we offer. From first line drawn to last nail driven, Jim's full range of experience in the building industry greatly benefits our clients.
