Ryan is a 1999 graduate of Kishwaukee College with an A.A.S degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design. He has worked in the landscape industry for the past sixteen years. The last seven years as co-owner of Knolls Landscaping with his brother Jarrod. After finishing high school in Stillman Valley, Jarrod went on to attend Kishwaukee College. He attained his A.A.S. degree in Ornamental Horticulture, with an emphasis in landscape design, in 2000. Throughout high school and college, Jarrod worked as a landscape laborer for a local company. In the spring of 2003, Jarrod co-founded Knolls landscaping with his brother Ryan.
