MAGNESENSE

Magnesense, a Maine LLC, was incorporated in 2000. Our offices are in Gorham, Maine (Seale) and Chagrin Falls, Ohio (Bergstrom). We are an R&D company specializing in electromagnetic actuators and related control technology. Since our inception we have focused on electromagnetic engine valves for spark ignition engines, for both automotive applications and small engines. As a small company, we have sought to identify weaknesses in the technology and develop solutions that we can market to industry. Some of our early work was supported by the Maine Technology Institute, while more recent work was supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency... The electronics and controls are applicable to both rockers and linear solenoid actuators. We design actuators of both types. We can develop an actuator and system to meet a customer's needs...
