PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT Mira Steinbrecher is the registered architect who founded the firm in 1991. Working primarily in the Pacific Northwest, she has designed seaside, mountainside, small town and wilderness homes. Her current work extends into Montana. Mira has a broad base of knowledge acquired through time and practice. She has decades of experience designing residential projects and consistently delivers inspired ideas that stand the test of time. As a seminar leader, Mira also teaches generations, new and old alike, about ways to bring a home design to life. Speaking at conferences in both North America and Europe, she keeps a wide network of relationships with industry builders, engineers and designers. Prior to founding the firm, she served as staff architect for a Canadian log building company with offices near Seattle. There she worked on projects in the U.S., Canada and Southeast Asia.
