Bill Skinner

Bill is the Vice President of Design and Technology, provides engineering support to all existing operating, construction, and development projects. Skinner has over thirty years of experience in the chemical, renewables and energy industries as an engineer, plant manager, and constructor. Before joining Navasota, Skinner worked for multinational corporations such as Allied Chemical, Tenneco, Lonza AG, Enel SPA, and Jacobs Engineering. He has been involved in the operation, design, and construction of renewables and power plants, chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper plants in North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Chad Reekie

Chad is the Senior Vice President of Asset Management, joining Navasota in 2017, and is responsible for optimizing asset performance, new generation development and contract compliance. Chad has over 10 years experience in the energy industry with a focus on wholesale power markets, including asset management, mergers & acquisitions, settlements, contract management, project management and regulatory reporting. Before joining Navasota, Chad worked at JP Morgan Ventures where he directed teams responsible for contract compliance, settlements, ISO disputes and due diligence. He has continually managed a number of fossil fuel assets in excess of 7,500 MWs located in CAISO, MISO and PJM. Additionally, Chad has managed renewable assets, including hydro, wind farms and biomass plants capable of producing over 500 MWs. He successfully supervised the remaining gas and power assets after the nearly $3.5B divestiture of JP Morgan Ventures ending in March 2016. He has additional work experience in asset management, operations and settlements while working at Williams Power. Mr. Reekie has an MBA from the University of Tulsa.

Chandler Morris

Chandler is the Vice President of Asset Management and Energy Markets, is responsible for power generation development, power origination and commercial oversight of trading and marketing activities. Morris has 16 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on the wholesale power and natural gas markets. His experience includes development of 3,100 MW of gas fired generation, management of power trading and gas supply for 2,200 MWs of power assets, over $1 billion of transaction experience in power generation asset acquisition and divestitures, and the marketing and brokering of energy derivative contracts. Before joining Navasota, Morris brokered natural gas basis and NYMEX options for Choice Energy. Prior to Choice, he managed asset acquisition and divestiture due diligence teams and was a project developer of natural gas combined cycle and simple cycle power plants at Duke Energy North America. Morris began his career with Sonat Marketing managing the gas supply for a retail gas marketing joint venture with ComEd in the Chicago market. Morris received a BS from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Denver.

Frank Giacalone - CEO, Founder

Frank is a founder and Principal Owner as well as CEO of Navasota Energy Services LLC and Navasota Energy Generation Holdings LLC. Navasota was the active manager/owner of 1,070 MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle facility located near San Antonio, Texas and 80 MW Solar development in Odessa, Texas. He is responsible for overall direction of the organization, lead developer, builder and asset operator. Until May 2010, Mr. Giacalone was a Director and President of Navasota Holdings Texas Partners LP, a 1,650 MW ERCOT portfolio with locations in Odessa, Wharton, and Madisonville. His executive and management experience exceeds 35 years in the energy industry with a focus on electric energy in both retail and wholesale markets. His experience includes commercial and technical assignments with companies such as General Electric and Tenneco. His extensive background includes infrastructure development, construction, and over $10 billion of acquisitions and divestitures in renewables, natural gas and electric power assets. His broad experience includes executive management of geographically dispersed organizations, business and asset development, acquisitions and divestitures of power assets and companies, financial structuring, investment management and enterprise restructuring. Prior to forming Navasota, Mr. Giacalone served as Vice President of Development and Asset Management for NRG Energy Inc. In that capacity, he successfully developed and built the Brazos Valley Energy Center in Thompsons, TX, a 645 MW combined cycle facility, and led expansion efforts in south and southwest wholesale power markets. Mr. Giacalone had similar success as SVP and Chief Development Officer of CHI Energy, Inc. where, as executive team leader, he saw the company through bankruptcy to profitability and successful sale to Italian utility ENEL. Mr. Giacalone has similar executive experiences with companies such as JWP, Tenneco and GE.

Howard Duckworth

Howard is the Vice President of Purchasing, is responsible for all procurement functions. Duckworth has over 35 years of engineering, commercial, finance, and supply chain operations experience, specializing in purchasing and contract management. Before joining Navasota, Duckworth provided PB Power purchasing management support for a variety of projects. Prior to PB Power, he served as purchasing manager for materials and services at Sasol North America. In this capacity, Duckworth was responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategies to optimize plant and ex-plant purchasing for North America.

Jeff Maida

Jeff is the Vice President of Asset Management, joined Navasota in 2008 and is responsible for optimizing asset performance, new generation development and acquisitions and divestitures (A&D). Maida has over 16 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on the power markets. His experience includes asset management, power plant development, acquisition and divestitures, and project management. Maida has managed assets in NEPOOL, ERCOT and PJM and has successfully completed A&D transactions totaling $6 billion. Before joining Navasota, Maida worked at Duke Energy North America where he managed teams responsible for all phases of the A&D process including marketing, due diligence, transaction negotiations, closing and transition activities. He has additional work experience in project development and asset management while with Coastal Power Company's Asian business development group. Maida has an MBA from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
