Aaron K. Schnizer

Aaron Schnizer is a graduate from Baylor University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Aaron has worked in the Oil & Natural Gas industry since 2005 and became an owner of Phoenix in 2010. With a mindset for growth and operational excellence, Aaron's guidance has helped lead the company to become one of the top manufacturer's representatives in the industry while implementing EOS initiatives and long term growth strategies for Phoenix.

Dan Simelis

Job Titles:

Dan Simelis began a career in sales after graduating from the University of Michigan. After leading several successful sales teams in the oil and gas space, Dan was hired as Phoenix's Pipeline Division Sales Leader in 2014. Dan led Phoenix's Pipeline and Distribution divisions prior to his promotion to Vice President of Sales in 2021.

Eric Newman - VP of Sales

Eric Newman began his career on the buy-side, first as a buyer and then as a purchasing manager for Fairmont Supply's Oil & Gas division. Eric transitioned to sales at Fairmont before being hired by Phoenix as a Sales Manager in 2013. Eric led Phoenix's Surface division prior to becoming a Vice President. Eric earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College and an MBA from Waynesburg University.

John A. Glud III - President

John Glud is a graduate and letterman of Texas Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to purchasing Phoenix Specialty in 2010, John led sales efforts at EFC Valve & Controls, where he quadrupled sales during his five year tenure. As leadership and service are John's passions, the majority of his time is spent happily taking care of the needs of Phoenix's customers, employees, and manufacturer partners.

Matt Caruso - CFO

Matt Caruso received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. He began his career with PwC, focusing on the financial statement audits of primarily large, multinational corporations. Following 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Matt became introduced to oil and gas while serving as the Assistant Controller of Rice Energy, prior to its acquisition by EQT. In 2018, Matt joined Phoenix in the role of Chief Financial Officer.
