A little over nine years ago I was approached by a Residential Real Estate agent to measure a home to provide him an accurate square footage which I did in a high end software program call Architectural AutoCAD. After two months of searching for a hardware and a less cumbersome software to measure and record residential properties I finally launched MeasureRight®.
