Adam Smith

Adam Smith is Assistant Vice President for RHSB in our Fort Worth office, focusing on Commercial Property & Casualty insurance solutions for middle-market companies. His background is in Healthcare Consulting (Transaction Advisory, M&A Analytics, Managed Care Negotiations, etc.). Adam graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University's Neeley School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Allison Nixon - VP

Allison Nixon is a sales executive focusing on Property & Casualty. She is also Team Leader of the Public Entities team providing insurance solutions in the role of broker or consultant for many large public entities, including municipalities, public schools, large community colleges, and non-profits. Allison has a sales background and is known for building strong relationships because of her passion for people. She also has experience managing and growing sales teams and creating marketing and branding strategies with a focus on solutions. Prior to RHSB Allison was Co-owner and Director of Sales and Marketing for RCK Group. She was a leader among the independent retailers. She also has over 4 years of experience with a luxury jewelry company Armenta Designs as an Account Executive. She is Vice President of Programs for the Junior Women's Club of Fort Worth and has a history of community service with Ronald McDonald House and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Allison is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in International Advertising and Public Relations. She studied abroad in France and speaks English and French. Allison Nixon was recognized as IBA 2022 Top Producer. To recognize the top producers in the US, Insurance Business America conducted a survey from March to April 2022. Producers had to have at least $1 million in commission revenue in 2021, comprising 50% commercial P&C business, and with year-on-year growth from 2020, to qualify for the list. Barton H. Tucker - SVP

Bart Tucker has been with our office in Fort Worth since 1980. He was named president of that office in 1987 and served on the Board of Directors from 1998 to 2022. He is also a member of the national faculty of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He taught a course on Insurance at Texas Christian University for almost three decades. Bart has served on various committees for the Texas Department of Insurance and has served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas and the Professional Insurance Agents of Texas. Bart was named Young Agent of the Year in 1985 by the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas and Agent of the Year in 1993 by the Professional Insurance Agents of Texas. He is currently serving on the Commercial Lines Liaison Panel for ISO. Bart is serving on the Board of Directors of the Angela Stanford Foundation and Mayfest, Inc.

Ben Collins

Ben is an Assistant Vice President primarily focusing on Property and Casualty insurance solutions for mid-sized commercial businesses. His previous roles with RHSB were as a Commercial P&C Sales Executive working with small business accounts, and he started as a commercial marketing technician, where he focused on marketing and underwriting commercial insurance programs. Ben graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management He enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time outdoors in his spare time.

Brian Tucker - SVP

Brian is a fourth generation Property & Casualty producer for the agency. He became a member of the RHSB Board of Directors in 2023. Prior to RHSB, Brian was with Central Insurance Company as a Commercial Underwriter and then was the Commercial and Personal Marketing Manager responsible for agents in New Mexico, Central, and West Texas. Brian got his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business with a degree in Finance and his Master's degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. Brian has his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Certified Risk Managers (CRM) designations. In his spare time, Brian teaches Insurance and Risk Management at Texas Christian University and coaches high school football at Trinity Valley School. Brian serves as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Tarrant County and is also on the board at RHSB, Ridglea Country Club Charitable Foundation, and Camp Fire of Texas' Finance Committee. Dirk Hansen - SVP

Dirk has 40 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. The first fourteen years of Dirk's professional career were with a large insurance company where he served in a number of sales and management positions. For over 30 years he has been serving as an employee benefit advisor assisting employers in the design and implementation of competitive benefit programs. Some of Dirk's work experience and professional activities include: Directed the sales and implementation process of several group benefit programs for a large insurance company. These programs consisted of life, medical, dental, vision, disability, and long-term care plans. These included employer groups with several thousand employees. Part of an insurance company management team that launched an HMO medical product in the state of Texas. Participated in the formation of the provider network, provider contracting, and implementation of quality improvement programs. Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). This is a ten-course program offered by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Founding member of the Cincinnati/Dayton CEBS chapter and served as an officer for several years. Has held several positions with the Dallas/Fort Worth CEBS Chapter including President. Started an employee benefit practice in 1997, assisting employers with their employee benefit programs. Sold the practice to an insurance agency in 2006 then built his book of business to over one million dollars in revenue before coming to RHSB in 2018. Dirk received his B.A. in Business Administration & Psychology from Hastings College in Hastings, NE.

Douglas R. Jones - SVP

Doug is a board member and served as Chairman of TechAssure Association, the premier group of international technology risk consultants. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS) and serves on advisory councils for both Chubb and Travelers insurance companies.

Hudson Yoder

Hudson is Assistant Vice President and sales executive for RHSB in our Fort Worth office. He focuses on Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance solutions for middle-market businesses. He has over six years of experience in marketing and sales with Life Insurance and Long-Term Care solutions. Hudson graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a minor in Energy and Technology management. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and exercising. He also volunteers at the Union Gospel Mission in Fort Worth.

John H. Hall - SVP

A life-long Texan, John Hall joined RHSB with a focus on commercial insurance production in 2002. With 30 years of experience in both the wholesale and retail sectors of the industry, John's focus is providing middle market companies with practical solutions for their risk management needs, with vast experience in the real estate, food, healthcare and non-profit sectors. More recently, John has gravitated to educating larger middle-market businesses on the advantages of alternative funding programs (captives) and other specialized products such as Crisis Recovery/Product Contamination Insurance for the ever-changing food industry. John became a principal with RHSB in 2004, and was appointed to RHSB's Board of Directors in 2011. He also coordinates recruiting efforts for RHSB in finding new sales professionals for the growing firm. John has a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and earned a Masters in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University. He is a long-time member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and Park Cities Baptist Church. John & his wife, Katherine, have three daughters.

John Luke

John Luke was a 2012 graduate of Jesuit Dallas. Here he developed his servant mindset and learned the Ignatian philosophy "Men for Others." He graduated from TCU with a degree in Finance. John Luke passed away May 2, 2021, two weeks before his 27th birthday.

Lane Allen

Mike Baker - VP

Mike Baker has over a decade of experience assisting commercial clients with risk management and risk transfer. He is client-focused and assists companies with insurance tailored to their business to protect their assets so they can achieve their corporate goals. His passion is the relationships he builds along the way. Mike is also very passionate about giving back to his community. He is a competitive cyclist, donating much of his free time to Big Pig Cancer Foundation, Shawnee Trail Cycling Club and Dallas Off Road Bike Association. He is Past Chairman of the Board for Goodwill Industries of El Paso where he served for 10 years and currently serves on a small non-profit board for Robin's Egg in Plano, TX. Mike holds a Mass Communications degree from The University of Texas at El Paso and has a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from The National Alliance.

Nick Galati - VP

Sebastian Sanchez - VP

Sebastian is a uniquely talented benefit consultant with an emphasis in small to mid-market employers. Prior to joining RHSB, Sebastian led a team of benefit coordinators for a national broker in the Dallas area. His experience with customer support and benefit plan design equip him with the knowledge needed to help employers navigate healthcare options. Sebastian is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is an avid tennis player.

Shannon Hansen - VP

Shannon provides RHSB with oversight of Benefit Services and is also our Compliance Director. She has over 12 years' of experience managing compliance services. Shannon also has ten years of experience with the long-term care industry in social services and administration. She managed a 52 bed Alzheimer's Assisted Living Center, working in all aspects of administration including financial and insurance related issues. Some of Shannon's accomplishments and professional activities include: Certified Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act Professional since 2011 Compliance and legislative review; educating clients about changes and updates in health care, insurance and HR services. Presentations given to employer and industry groups regarding health care reform, compliance and benefits services. Presentations given to employees on health care consumerism and other related topics. Coordinating for clients the selection and implementation of Online Enrollment, Payroll and HRIS systems. Working with clients to design and implement enrollment and communication material. Masters of Science degree from the University of North Texas in Studies in Aging with a minor in counseling; named Outstanding Student. Magna Cum Laude graduate from Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services Administration and Psychology. Published several articles in Gerontological journals regarding research and work in the field of aging and Alzheimer's disease.

Shellie Croy - Chairman

Shellie has an extensive background in personal and commercial property & casualty insurance. As Vice President Property & Casualty Operations she provides leadership, operational direction, and supervision of the Commercial and Personal property and casualty departments and service teams. Shellie served for four and a half years as Vice President of Personal Client Services before taking on the commercial responsibilities as well. She is also a liaison with our insurance carriers to maintain and further develop these relationships. Shellie is Board Chairperson & Member of the American Lung Association Texas Leadership Board, Officer of DFW Camaro Club, volunteer for Operation Kindness, and on the RHSB Foundation Throw Down committee. She is from the Chicago area and relocated to Texas in 2015.

Spencer McClenahan - SVP

Spencer McClenahan began his career in production in 2003 and joined RHSB in 2010. He works with middle-market companies, in particular those with multinational exposures utilizing the Assurex Global partnerships. A member of Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations (DCFR), he focuses on exploring leading edge developments in foreign affairs. Spencer's first job in the insurance industry was as an underwriting intern while still in college studying risk management. After graduation in 2003, he joined a local agency where he worked primarily on insurance products tailored to the manufacturing, distribution, real estate, technology, and construction businesses. These industries he continues to focus on today. Spencer holds a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University, where he double-majored in Risk Management and Insurance along with Marketing. He has held the Certified Insurance Counselor designation since 2005.

Tom A. Hughston - CEO

Tom Hughston is Chief Executive Officer and Principal of RHSB also serving on the Board of Directors. He specializes in commercial insurance production. In 1991, he joined the firm and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1995. Tom is active in the insurance industry serving on various local and national boards. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Assurex Global, an international partnership of the most prominent independent agents and brokers in the world. He is a Board of Director of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers ("CIAB"), the premier association for the top insurance intermediaries worldwide and served as Co-Chair for the Council P.A.C., a Political Action Committee that serves the broker community. He is also a Board Director for the Foundation for Agency Management Excellence ("FAME"), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that promotes leadership and excellence in the agent/broker community. Tom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Will Whitten

Will Whitten is a Personal Risk Advisor for our Private Client Services division. Drawing from his previous experience in insurance and real estate, Will has extensive experience in concierge service for unique assets and creating a personalized portfolio to meet the needs of each individual client. He comes by this profession naturally as he is the third generation in his immediate family in the insurance industry. Will's ultimate goal is to gain client trust by offering the highest level of service and professionalism resulting in lasting relationships. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. Although originally from West Texas, Will has been a long time resident of Fort Worth and very much considers this home. He is passionate about being involved in our community and giving back through active engagement in several Volunteer Organizations including Steer Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Will is committed to the organizations he is involved in and doing his part to help preserve the rich culture Fort Worth offers.
