Brian Kowitz

Brian Kowitz joined Heller Kowitz Insurance Advisors in June of 2013, specializing in high net worth clients, particularly professional athletes. As a former professional baseball player for the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, and the Toronto Blue Jays from 1990 to 1996, Brian has built a strong relationship and network across the country with professional sports agents, top sports executives, current and past professional athletes, as well as many business owners, business professionals, doctors, and attorneys He focuses on various life, disability, long term care, and loss of value insurance. Brian attended Jemicy in 1982 before graduating Boys' Latin High School in 1987, where he participated in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was then awarded a scholarship to play baseball for Clemson University where he won an ACC Championship in 1989, earned All ACC and Academic All American honors as a sophomore, and an ACC Player of the Year award in 1990 as well as All American honors. Brian was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1990 and earned a World Series ring in 1995. He is a licensed life and health and property and casualty insurance agent. He is active in his children's school and local community, coaches his children's baseball, softball, and basketball teams, and is a member of the Major League Baseball Alumni Association and Clemson Alumni Association. Brian also supports several local charities. He is also very active in supporting the Dyslexic community as 2 of his 3 children attend Jemicy currently.

Steven established RMS LLC in January of 2009. In August of 2013 Heller Kowitz Insurance Advisors was formed. With over 18 years insurance industry experience, Steven is considered by many to provide exceptional service backed by fifteen top rated national insurance carriers. "Our core principal beliefs are grounded on our ability to educate consumers on the importance of implementing sound competitive coverage strategies". The insurance procurement process should be one which encompasses both coverage and price. "Often times consumers are heavily influenced by price because coverage is either ignored or improperly explained by agents and or direct distribution channels. "Our goal simply stated is to provide our clients with budget sensitive custom coverage solutions." Anyone who knows Steve can testify to his passion and enthusiasm towards helping people. "I admit I'm in the minority who are excited about insurance coverage. It's important to find a good agent who has integrity, detailed, and fun to work with." Steve resides in Reisterstown Maryland with his wife Kyra. He enjoys the outdoors, playing music, going to concerts, and reading motivational books.
