April has over 25 years of experience using QuickBooks and has been with Roper since 2010.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, April has her B.S. in Accounting from Livingstone College, where she was a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. April is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her three children and coaching for Track Xplosion Youth track club and Rolesville High School track team. April serves as treasurer for the Rolesville High School Booster Club and for Pop Warner Capital City Steelers Youth Football. As for dessert, Chocolate Mousse Pie is April's favorite.
A North Carolina native, Julie has over 10 years' accounting experience including her QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification. Julie has her A.S. in Applied Science and Accounting from Wake Tech and is currently pursuing her B.S. degree. Since 2018, Julie has been a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
In her free time, Julie loves to garden and cans the bounty from her vegetable garden. And a tasty slice of sweet potato pie is her favorite dessert.
As a CPA who has built two successful women-owned companies, she enjoys helping individuals and small business owners navigate the many areas of accounting and finance. Accurate and sound financials are important for many purposes. We give our clients the confidence to know their numbers are accurate when doing their taxes, applying for a loan or attracting investors. Maribeth has her Master's in Accounting from UNC Chapel Hill and has held her CPA license since 1992. She has a BA in Economics from Creighton University. Maribeth has an extensive financial background working for both Deloitte and Merrill Lynch along with serving as a senior financial advisor with Revlon. When Maribeth is not out riding her bike on the greenway, you will find her walking with her two precious golden retrievers, Emma and Josie! Maribeth is a lover of music festivals with her favorites being MerleFest and the Albino Skunk Festival. Maribeth is a mom to three adult children who bring her joy every day. And a delicious slice of cheesecake with a nice cup of tea is her favorite.
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Nollie graduated and earned her Master's in Accounting both from UNC-Chapel Hill. Additionally, she earned her CPA in 2021 and is part of our bookkeeping and tax team at Roper.
Nollie is an avid animal lover and in her free time, enjoys spending time at the gym and with her friends and family. Her dessert of choice is Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
With over 30 years accounting and management experience, Shelly is a welcome addition to the Roper team. She has served as a CPA for a large Accounting firm, Director of Finance, Director of Advisory Service and has joined our team as Senior Accountant. Shelly earned her BS from Georgia Tech in Management & Accounting and brings many years of experience working with medical practices, non-profits and consulting firms.
Susan has 32 years of experience. Prior to leaving the corporate world to care for her children, Susan was an executive secretary. As the co-owner of a ceramics shop with her mother, Susan honed her QuickBooks skills and understands the complexities of running a small business. Susan attended Bergen Community College and is a volunteer Treasurer for Johnston County Beekeepers Association. Susan has been married to John for over 30 years and moved from New Jersey to North Carolina almost 5 years ago. Now a proud grandmother, Susan enjoys beekeeping, camping and spending time with her growing family. Her favorite dessert is carrot cake.
Tiffany is responsible for the development and execution of marketing initiatives for Roper Accounting Group's range of services. She has an extensive background in marketing and advertising working in Chicago and NYC for various hospitality and advertising agencies including McCann-Erickson and Marriott International. Tiffany has her B.A. from Lake Forest College and continuing education from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Cornell University's SC Johnson School of Business. After two cross country moves, she has been in Raleigh with her husband and two children since 2015. Tiffany is an active volunteer with the Junior League, Christ Church, Note in the Pocket, Cardinal Gibbons and Broughton High School. Tiffany cannot pass up a slice of Key Lime pie with fresh whippped cream.
