SetterTech, LLC was established in 2010 by Jay Settersten who had been working in the natural resources / natural science arena for 20 years prior. Since the inception of SetterTech, Jay Settersten has surrounded himself with a team of very experienced and well respected consultants and contractors, providing SetterTech a wealth of experience; some projects accumulating over 100 years of experience. SetterTech and its consultants have been involved in numerous environmental projects throughout the upper Midwest, mainly Wisconsin. These projects include comprehensive land management plans, land restoration, project management at many levels, stormwater facility inspection and failure investigations, training of public agency staff in the world of native species-shoreland mitigation-invasive species control, comprehensive stormwater management planning, waterway permitting, wetland delineations, woodland restoration, Natural Resource Protection Plans (NRPP), Endangered and Threatened..
