Aiko Loo

Aiko Loo was born in Japan and moved to the Bay Area in her early childhood. Aiko went on to study at University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Psychology. While there, she spent several months interning at the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana, California. She also studied abroad in New Zealand for a year before returning to complete her bachelor's degree. After college, Aiko pursued her interest in nursing by attending Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, where she received her Master's of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During her tenure at Samuel Merritt, Aiko worked extensively in her surrounding community, and also spent time treating patients in locales such as Laos and Panama. She completed comprehensive training in sleep medicine at CCSD in 2010. She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Jerrold Alan Kram

Dr. Kram is one of the country's most experienced sleep specialists. He began his work in the field in 1980, opened CCSD in 1983, and received his Board Certification in Sleep Medicine in 1989. He graduated with honors from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary fellowship at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Kram brings an inclusive philosophy to the practice of Sleep Medicine and his running of CCSD. He is actively engaged in programs to spread sleep expertise throughout the local medical community and is a featured speaker in professional and community lectures nationwide. Dr. Kram currently serves on the board of the National Sleep Foundation. He works with the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Family Practice to develop a curriculum teaching sleep medicine to primary care physicians.

NP Hawk

NP Hawk has been nationally published both in medical journals and educational videos. She is a Medical/Legal court recognized Expert Witness which included testifying in a hallmark state precedence setting case. Her professional memberships include: Society of Sleep Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, American Lung Association. NP Hawk has an impressive history of community service and volunteer work including: serving as Rotary Club President Elect earning the Paul Harris Fellow Award, once only reserved for men. She has been long involved in the Arts, having exhibited her own works, as a member with Danville Arts Association and Lamorinda Arts Alliance.
