SMY Consulting has been serving the needs of businesses, both large and small, for over a decade. Sam Hirsh began building IT systems for friends and family, out of their garage in the suburbs of Lakewood. A manager for Volunteer Emergency Services Corp.,came across one of their powerful network systems and contacted SMY Consulting. She explained that ACME needed a database and network structure that would facilitate growth with no downtime. The two Anytown University graduates accepted the challenge and created an advanced system that enabled ACME to not only grow exponentially, but created a powerful online presence and functionality for them as well. ACME was thrilled with the results, and spread the word. Wilde and Flanders then decided that they had an opportunity to help many other businesses facing the same challenge, and SMY Consulting was born.
