HUMBOLDT SPAY

Humboldt Spay/Neuter Network was founded in 2003 to reduce the number of unwanted and euthanized cats and dogs in Humboldt County by making spaying and neutering available and affordable for all animals... Starting with a dream, a phone number, and support from the community, we provided vouchers that subsidized the cost of spays and neuters at local veterinary clinics. In 2014, we opened our own spay/neuter clinic to help more animals and save more lives. Every month, our dedicated veterinary staff provides spays and neuters for more than 370 cats and dogs. We also provide basic wellness care, including vaccines, parasite control, wound treatment, basic illness treatment, humane euthanasia and dentals for needy animals.
