Andrew J. Roberge - VP

Andrew joined Staley Capital as a Portfolio Analyst in June 2020 and assumed portfolio management responsibilities in July 2021. He is responsible for managing private account portfolios, conducting security and portfolio analysis for both private accounts and Forum Capital, and for private account client reporting. He also serves as Staley Capital's Proxy Voting Coordinator and is a member of the Investment Committee. Andrew earned a B.A. from Ohio State University with a major in economics. Prior to joining Staley Capital, he served as an equity analyst/associate with Guggenheim Securities in New York City for four years and with Nomura Securities for the year prior. Andrew is a golfer, cook, and student of Greek and Roman history. He, his wife, Rachel, and their puppy, Gus, are enjoying life in Pittsburgh.

Brian M. McInerney - CEO

Brian joined Staley Capital in 1996 as a shareholder, Vice President, and Managing Director, and was named Senior Managing Director, Private Account Management in January 2020. He manages the private accounts area and serves as a portfolio manager, investment analyst and asset allocation strategist for the private accounts. Brian is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Brian earned a BS with a concentration in finance from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA, finance, from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Brian was the Director of Fixed Income Research at Integra Trust Company from January 1995 to June 1996. He was a fixed-income trader and then Research Analyst at Federated Investors, Inc. from June 1991 to January 1995. Prior to that, he served as a trader in Unit Investment Trust Sales at Smith Barney Harris Upham in New York City. Brian serves as a Director and Board Committee Member for various nonprofits, including The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. He is an avid golfer. Brian and his wife, Sandy, have two adult children.

Christopher F. Pretsch - Managing Director

Chris joined Staley Capital in June of 2007 as a Vice President and portfolio manager. He became a shareholder and Managing Director in January 2012. Chris is responsible for portfolio management of private accounts; additional areas of focus include evaluation of third-party mutual fund and exchange-traded fund products, and fixed income and stock analysis. Chris also assists clients with financial projections for retirement and is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Chris earned a BBA with a major in finance from Cleveland State University. Chris was employed as a portfolio manager with Mellon Private Wealth Management in Pittsburgh and Mellon Trust of New York for six years prior to joining Staley Capital. He had previously served as a fixed-income trader with Cantor Fitzgerald Securities and as a portfolio assistant with Credit Suisse Asset Management. Chris and his wife, Amy, have two young children. Chris, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, is a collector of currency and stamps.

Dean J. Kartsonas - VP

Dean joined Staley Capital as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager in 2018. He became a shareholder and Managing Director in January 2020. Dean manages private account client portfolios and also provides analysis of equity and high yield debt securities. He is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Dean earned a BS degree, majoring in economics, from Cornell University and an MBA in finance from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He served from June 2013 through February 2018 as a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer of Shorebridge Wealth Management and Registered Investment Adviser Representative with Raymond James Financial Services Advisors, Inc. He was a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Federated Investors, Inc. from 1994 to 2013. Dean is currently a Director and Treasurer for the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. Dean and his wife, Katie, have three children. Dean is a former pro basketball player and a long-time youth basketball coach.

Erin L. Wood

Erin provides administrative and client support to the private account area. She assists clients with account paperwork, is responsible for client billing, and interacts extensively with clients and their outside service providers. She joined Staley Capital in 2006. Erin was previously a Senior Teller at National City Bank. In her free time, Erin enjoys constructing and furnishing miniature dollhouses and she is a baker "extraordinaire".

Georgann D. Siesky

Georgann is the Senior Client Account Administrator, primarily responsible for operations and data integrity within the private account area. She interacts extensively with clients and the custodians that hold client assets. Prior to joining Staley Capital in 1997, Georgann was an Administrative Assistant at Federated Securities Corp. Georgann enjoys exercise, golf, and bowling. She was formerly a professional vocalist, and she continues to enjoy singing in her church choir and community chorus. She and her husband, Jeff, have a teenage son.

Graham A. Friday - VP

Graham joined Staley Capital in January 2024 as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for managing private account portfolios and provides security and portfolio analysis. He is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Graham earned a BS from Miami University with a major in finance. Prior to joining Staley Capital, he served as an investment advisor with PNC Private Bank in Cleveland, Naples, and Pittsburgh for 7 years. Graham is an accomplished golfer and still competes regularly. He is an avid angler and Pittsburgh sports fan. Graham and his wife, Lauren, enjoy traveling to new places and trying different restaurants.

Hannah A. Long

Hannah joined Staley Capital as an Administrative Professional in August 2020. A recent graduate of Seton Hill University, Hannah is responsible for general office operations, including the creation and maintenance of required records. Hannah enjoys the outdoors, particularly camping and traveling with family and friends.

James D. Roberge - CEO

Jim joined Staley Capital in 1996 as a shareholder, Vice President, and Managing Director, and was named Senior Managing Director, Investment Research in January 2020. He co-manages Forum Capital Partners, a private limited partnership with Staley Capital as a general partner, manages certain private accounts, and also serves as an equity analyst and asset allocation strategist for the private accounts. Jim is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Jim earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA, finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jim was employed with Federated Investors, Inc. from July 1990 to June 1996. He served as a municipal bond analyst and, for four years, as a portfolio manager for various Federated municipal bond and government bond mutual funds. He currently serves as a Director and/or Endowment Committee chair for various nonprofit organizations. Jim and his wife Tris are very active in their church and they spend much of their free time traveling.

John A. Staley, IV

John A. Staley, IV founded Staley Capital Advisers, Inc. in 1996 after more than 25 years as a senior executive with Federated Hermes (formerly Federated Investors). He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of various Federated Investors, Inc. investment subsidiaries for 17 of those years. John has spent almost his entire five-decade-plus career in the investment world and founded Staley Capital to cater to high-net-worth individuals and institutions seeking tailored investment management services. Staley Capital was founded and continues to be structured to align our interests with those of our clients through 1) a fee structure based on client account value (your success equals our success) and 2) declining to accept payments from third parties such as fund companies (portfolio decisions based on your interests, not ours). Staley Capital has since grown to manage over $2 billion in client assets on a discretionary basis. Staley Capital is registered as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission and the Commonwealth of PA and has also filed with securities regulators in various states across the U.S. John founded Staley Capital Advisers, Inc. in 1996. After several years with a CPA firm, John moved to Federated Hermes (formerly FII.) in 1969. He was Chief Executive Officer and President of various FII subsidiaries from December 1977 through September 1994. John is a graduate of Duquesne University and earned his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania in 1966. John currently serves as a Board member of several privately-held companies, and as a Trustee Emeritus of Duquesne University. He also sits on Board committees for various nonprofit organizations, including the investment committee of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. John and his wife, Patti, have six children and many grandchildren.

Lorraine M. Payne

Lorraine has been with Staley Capital since its inception and serves as the elected Secretary of the Board. She is the executive assistant to John Staley. Lorraine was previously employed at Federated Investors, Inc. as John Staley's assistant. She and her husband, Bill, have two young children. Lorraine is an avid golfer and Steeler's fan.

Michael Friday - Managing Director

Michael joined Staley Capital in 2004 as a portfolio manager and investment analyst. He was named Managing Director and became a shareholder in 2007. Michael manages private account client portfolios and provides analysis of equity securities and sectors. Michael is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. Michael earned a BBA, with majors in accounting and finance, from the University of Wisconsin. He served from April 1988 through April 2004 as a registered broker/portfolio manager and equity analyst with Arthurs Lestrange & Co. Michael, an accomplished tennis player who bikes to work every day, has two teenage children with his wife, Lisa.

Natalie Baldauff - Chief Compliance Officer

Natalie joined Staley Capital as the Chief Compliance Officer in 2022. She is responsible for the oversight of compliance with federal and state regulations and provides operational support for Forum Capital Partners. Most recently, Natalie served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer at 13D Management LLC, a registered investment advisor in New York, NY. Prior to 13D, she held compliance positions at Deutsche Bank, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management and MetLife. Natalie earned a B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College. She enjoys running, dogs, and painting.

Thomas J. McCrady - VP

T.J. joined Staley Capital in 2011 as a Vice President. His responsibilities include developing and growing client relationships, both existing and new. T.J. was a licensed insurance agent and the owner of McCrady Insurance Company prior to joining Staley Capital. He is a graduate of Lynchburg College and currently serves on the Board of a privately-held company. T.J. and his wife, Jen, have three young children. T.J. is an accomplished participant in sports shooting.

William F. Stotz - Managing Director

He co-manages and directs trading for Forum Capital Partners, and also serves as an equity and high yield debt analyst for the private accounts. William is a member of Staley Capital's Investment Committee. William earned a BA, majoring in economics and accounting, from the College of the Holy Cross, and an MBA in finance from the University of Massachusetts. He was a high yield investment analyst and portfolio manager with Federated Investors, Inc. from January 1993 to June 1998. Prior to that, he worked in New York City as a high yield analyst with Prudential Bache Securities and an assistant portfolio manager with Calvin Bullock Ltd. He currently serves on the Board of a privately-held company. William and his wife, Ilana, have five adult children.
