Barbara Roland - Founder, SVP

Ms. Roland has extensive experience in market research methodologies across both professional and consumer audiences. Consulting services include design, implementation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative primary marketing research projects addressing all aspects of product development and marketing. Ms. Roland has extensive experience in qualitative research methodologies including moderating focus groups and conducting indepth interviews (telephone and in-person) with a variety of healthcare audiences including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and managed care representatives. Ms. Roland is experienced in multivariate analysis of quantitative studies, including Chi-square analysis, regression analysis, factor analysis, conjoint studies, and perceptual mapping. Ms. Roland is experienced in virtually all therapeutic areas. Ms. Roland offers particular expertise in conducting consumer research regarding health-related topics. Ms. Roland has a B.A. degree in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland. She has over 25 years experience in Market Research, with more than 20 years experience specific to Pharma/Healthcare.

Dr. Susan Wyant - Founder, President

Dr. Wyant provides a wide range of experience to assist pharmaceutical company clients in market research, business planning, and strategic direction. She offers expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and has extensive experience in moderating focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, nurses) and consumers/patients in all therapeutic categories. Dr. Wyant is responsible for research plan design, implementation and analysis for a wide variety of market research projects. Dr. Wyant's primary focus at the current time is on new product development, particularly in therapeutic areas that are highly technical and/or clinically complex, such as oncology, hematology, immunology and infectious diseases, and metabolic disorders. In addition to assisting pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Wyant has also served as a consultant to several health-related organizations, including the American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA) and the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC). Dr. Wyant currently holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy.

Karen Freidouni

Ms. Freidouni has 20+ years with The Dominion Group. Ms. Freidouni is responsible for The Dominion Group's CI Division and all CI programs. Ms. Freidouni has full knowledge of the CI techniques and procedures to assist clients in developing comprehensive competitive maps, pipeline analysis, competitive R&D programs, and generic market entries. Areas of expertise include communication of industry alerts, accelerated research methods, competitive intelligence research using a variety of methodologies and research tools including managing multiple online drug and global news databases. Ms. Freidouni is responsible for the development, process and delivery of monthly product pipeline reports and competitive landscape charts. Ms. Freidouni has extensive experience in both primary and secondary research methodologies, including scientific conference coverage.

Robyn Coates

As project manager, Ms. Coates guides the primary market research life cycle, including plan development and creation. She is responsible for conducting in-depth interviews, analysis, and reporting. With more than twelve years of healthcare experience, Ms. Coates understands the unique challenges of the industry. Her past management experience includes strategy, competitive intelligence, and marketing experience for a leading managed care plan. Within the payer market, she managed both qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate a wide range of topics, including new product development, pricing, brand awareness, and advertising. As a seasoned strategic planning consultant, she has led major business development and marketing initiatives for both regional and academic healthcare systems across the nation. Ms. Coates holds a BA from Emory University and a MPA from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
