PATIENT
Updated 716 days ago
We are a group of practicing, and retired practicing, orthopedists who believe that the concerns and problems of our patients are the raison d'etre of our profession. Put another way, we believe that our professional needs are defined by the needs of our patients. We intend to advocate for our patients and communicate our vision both within the profession and to outside policy makers. We also hope to extol the non-financial joys and pleasure of practicing orthopedics...
We support policies that put patient interests first and foremost. This focus on the patient will be critical as our health care system evolves over the next several years due to both funding constraints and the laudable effort to insure more of our citizens; make no mistake--meaningful access to quality care in America is largely determined by one's insurance status.
