Sanjeev Joshipura

Sanjeev Joshipura is a senior executive with wide-ranging accomplishments in the corporate, public policy / political and non-profit realms. He has lived, worked and studied in the U.S., India and Canada, and has led an industry association's global expansion in 5 continents. In expanding the association's global footprint, he navigated the regulatory and political apparatus at the European Parliament and European Commission in Brussels. He works as a U.S.-India business and public policy consultant, utilizing his background, knowledge and high level contacts to advise his clients and advance their interests. Sanjeev is an Advisor at iSPIRT, an Indian software products industry think tank and market catalyst. He also serves on the Advisory Board at Valleysoft Technologies, an American information technology services and staffing firm. He is on the Board of Directors at The Arc Montgomery County, a non-profit serving people with developmental disabilities, and was on the Board at In Reach, an educational non-profit serving underprivileged youth. In the Fortune 500 corporate realm, he has managed business strategy, sales force re-alignment, process improvement, technology and financial projects with up to $600 million revenue impact. He has facilitated and coached managers on an organization-wide sales strategy revamp impacting a $5 billion topline. In addition, Sanjeev has managed and reported to managers in both matrixed and direct formats. In the non-profit sector, Sanjeev has led an industry association to increase its revenues by 100% in 3 years through business development, sales and marketing activities. He advanced the organization's agenda by building relationships and alliances with senior corporate executives, government officials, the media and thought leaders in America and globally. He influenced legislative and regulatory outcomes on Capitol Hill and with the U.S. government's executive branch. Sanjeev has also led a team of consultants to first establish a relationship with and then deliver a strategic business analysis to a non-profit client. In the public policy and political domain, Sanjeev has advised U.S. senators and congressmen on macroeconomic, microeconomic, tax, budgetary, monetary, financial regulatory and international issues. As a committee staffer on Capitol Hill, he was recognized as a substantive contributor to policy discussions during the extremely tense and uncertain onset of the financial crisis in 2008. He has served as Deputy Campaign Manager of a statewide U.S. Senate election campaign. In addition to authoring published articles on financial regulatory, monetary and political economy topics, Sanjeev has collaborated with noted economists and think tanks on budgetary and global financial regulatory analysis. Sanjeev has won multiple awards for public speaking and debating. He was a city-ranked tennis player in middle school and captained his class cricket team at university.
