Continental Specialties, commonly referred to as The Dutch Store in Barrie, is owned and operated by Jeff Van Niekerk. The store originally opened on Mary Street in 1964 and then moved to Maple Street in 1972. In 1995 the store moved to its current location on Dunlop Street and Jeff is the third generation to run the family store. Jeff also owns the Strathroy Deli and Dutch in Strathroy located at 31 Front Street West... Dutch Store Continental Specialties has all your Dutch specialty needs and more. We offer cheese, deli, grocery, frozen foods and a small cafe.
