ATTORNEY PETTWAY

Attorney Pettway attended college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. At Duke, she majored in English and spent much of her spare time volunteering at various community service programs. She attended law school at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. While in law school, she was on a law journal, worked with the Equal Justice Foundation, and received clinical training in the Juvenile Law Clinic. Currently, Attorney Pettway is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Association and Black Women Lawyers of Greater Chicago. She has served on judicial review panels, chaired the Chicago Bar Association Juvenile Law Committee, served on the Chicago Bar Association's Blue Ribbon Panel on the Detention Center, and sits on the Board of Directors for Maryville Academy...
