Since 2014 the main focus of BTF has been the introduction of berries farming in Bali's tropical climate. BTF today is the only commercial producer of raspberries in Bali, with plans to expand production for exports markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei... BTF is active as manager and joint venture partner for inspired landowners and sustainable projects throughout Bali and Indonesia... Sayu planted the first 50 trees in 2004 on a small plot of land owned by her aunt in in central Bali. Sayu and Marcantonio started PT Bali Kayu Jati (BaliTeakFarms/BTF) in 2006. Since its formation, BTF has been continuously planting and developing its programs. BTF has planted approximately 36,000 trees on 30 hectares of land in in its farms in Bali, in Jelantik/Campuan (Bedugul), Kubu (Karangasem) and Seririt.
