Shambhala Chicago's Governing Council is seeking additional board members to serve as leaders in the Shambhala community. Governing Council members play an active role in Council meetings, Shambhala functions, and important Center-related decisions. We are striving to expand our council to include more diverse ideas and opinions about our organization and community... For almost 50 years, the Shambhala Chicago Meditation Center has offered Chicagoans the opportunity to work with their minds and hearts through mindfulness meditation. Our mission is to inspire and awaken compassionate society through personal and collective transformation.
