Developmental Resources, Inc. has provided development, architectural, planning and urban design services for developers, institutions and residential clients since 1978. The early work for the firm involved both rental and condominium housing. The firms work from 1983 to 1991has included large commercial office renovations, historic preservation, health clubs, day care centers, and tenant space planning. From 1991 to 1995, the firm has focused on nonprofit institutional clients for a majority of it's work. Mr. Dennis Rieske AIA was the nonprofit developer, agent and architect for the 82-bed skilled nursing addition and renovation of the existing 24-bed Stone Institute in Newton Upper Falls into assisted-living housing. The Stone Institute was financed through the sale of $6.2 million dollars of tax-exempt MIFA bonds to pay for the new construction and renovations to the existing facility.
