GILLETTE

I am Gary Gillette and the creator of the architectural replicas. They combine my interests in model-making and American architectural history. I started making the replicas over twenty years ago. I have been slowly working through different American architectural styles of the 19th and early 20th centuries... Every attempt has been made to be both accurate compared to the building represented, and precise in the details. The results are precision miniatures at a scale of ¼ inch equaling one foot. The replicas are made primarily of layers of high quality paper and matt board, with a variety of other materials as necessary. They are professionally sealed in museum-quality acrylic cases.
