Raghu, is an infrastructure professional with over 35 years of experience across Airports, Urban Infra, and Transportation focused on Operations, Strategy, and Planning advisory work. He started his career with DOT, worked with the IAAI, and now AAI for 19 years. He was part of the transition team when Mumbai airport was privatized in 2006 and played a key role. He moved to the Private sector starting with Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, Essar Concessions, and Essel Infrastructure. Mr. Raghuraman switched to an Advisory and Consulting role in 2017 and was closely working with the Bengaluru International Airport Limited and with the NIIF, India's first Sovereign Wealth Fund. His focus has been on Corporate Strategy, Business Modelling, and Revenue Generation avenues, besides bringing winning partnerships on board. He was associated with the buyout transaction of the majority shareholder of Mumbai Airport for a consortium of Investors i.e. NIIF, ADIA, and PSP Canada.
